Courtney Escorza is . . .

an artist, art educator, and mestiza with otomí ancestry. Her work revolves reconnecting with the indigenous rituals, symbols, and culture that have sustained her family for centuries. She is inspired by indigenous materials and techniques and finds ways to honor her roots in a modern and fine arts setting.

Day to day, she works as a draw & paint teacher at a predominantly Latino high school in Georgia. She thrives in uplifting the Latino community and sharing her passion for art with the newer generations.
